RELIEF WORKER
LOCATION: Kildare Town
CONTRACT: Relief
THE ROLE:
Teach Tearmainn’s Refuge opened in *. The
safe homes service opened in *. Reporting to
the Refuge Coordinator, the Relief Worker will be responsible for
providing safe accommodation and support to women who have fled their
home as a result of domestic violence and abuse. The Relief Worker
will be responsible for providing families in our safe homes and
refuge with a safe and caring space to stay while healing from their
experiences of abuse.
Support will be provided using a trauma informed and empowerment
approach. The Relief Worker will also be responsible for making both
internal and external referrals to ensure our service users receive
the support services they require. The Relief Worker will also provide
support and information to Helpline Callers. For more information

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A FULL CLEAN DRIVER’S LICENCE AND USE OF
YOUR OWN VEHICLE FOR THIS POSITION.
